(1) check and prepare before start hot oil pump:

1) check whether the solid bolts such as the foundation of the unit, the wheelset and the bearing end cover are loose, and whether all the wire blocks are fully fastened.
The motor wiring should be firm.
2) turn the car 2-3 laps, requiring uniform rotation, no clamping and abnormal sound.
3) check whether there is leakage in each transition section, filter and flange.
4) before starting the hot oil pump, check the liquid level of the gear box to make sure that the oil level is in the center line of the oil mark.
5) pump filling and emptying, so that there is enough conveying medium in the pump.
6) check whether the pressure gauge and ammeter are complete, flexible and easy to use, and whether they are within the validity period.
7) inform the electrician to measure the insulation resistance of the motor to the ground, which should meet the requirements and be prepared for power transmission.

(2)start operation of hot oil pump:

1) open the screw pump inlet valve, outlet valve and bypass valve.
2) reduce the load of other operating units.
3) notify the electrician to deliver the electricity.
4) evacuate other personnel near the hot oil pump unit.
5) start to check the rotation direction of the motor.
6) press the start button, and after the number of revolutions reaches normal, the ammeter pointer will return to the minimum, and slowly close the opening of the bypass valve of the progressing cavity pump to the required flow pressure.
7) quickly check the inlet and outlet pressure, shaft end seal, shaft temperature and leakage, vibration of the unit.

(3) stop of hot oil pump: 1) slowly open the blowoff valve.
2) after the pressure comes down, press the stop button to stop the pump.
3) after the hot oil pump stops running, slowly close the inlet and outlet valve to prevent pressure holding.
4) close the heat tracing line valve.
